Would you elaborate on this please? (Even though I might end up almost wishing you hadn’t.)
Bill Frist at one point obtained a cat and dissected it to further his understanding of anatomy, apparently outside the shelter of a classroom or school. In other words, true independent study. Apparently, this squicks people out, but given that he eventually became a transplant surgeon I think it was mostly a manifestation of early fascination with anatomy. Anyhow, do people think surgeons learn their techniques out of a book?
Huh. And here I thought it was just a “character” thing he did on _Bones_.
No, David’s been doing that for years. I imagine he wears those socks on _Bones_ because he never could on _Angel_–though the thought of Angel wearing goofy socks makes my day.

He’s also afraid of chickens, though that’s not a hobby. That’s just weird.

James Marsters plays guitar (solo now, though he once had a band). If you ever heard the man live, you’d think it was pretty damned strange.

Why does that not surprise me?

During WWII he was quite the poker hustler.

No question about it. He brought a nice little chunk of money from military poker games into civilian life.

I hated his ass, but nowhere near as much as I do the current occupant.
