# Strange IE behavior at Straight Dope home page

I’m standing up a new computer at work and when I go to the SD home page, I get the following dialog box, attempting to download a file:

> from: [www.straightdope.com](http://www.straightdope.com)

I went ahead and downloaded it but the site still doesn’t come up. The file looks like a binary when I bring it up in Notepad.

Someone just asked this question on the [About This Messageboard](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=325388) forum.
