Strange (In Your Opinion) Reading Habits

“Dream sequences” in novels: I usually skim over them. I think it’s because I consider them irrelevant, not sure.

When I hit one of these, I just think, “Ah, shit. He/She’s dreaming again!”, and go on past.

I don’t read as much fiction as I’d like to, simply because the first time I read a book of fiction (particularly by an author I haven’t read before), I have to read it at one sitting. Front to back.

I do the same thing much of the time. Usually dream sequences just end up being the author going “look how bizarre this is!” I’ve never read one that even vaguely resembled an actual dream.

I do the same thing! Particularly if the chapter ends halfway down the right-hand page, and if it’s one of those books with a mini-cliffhanger at the end of every chapter.
