Strange (pleasant) tingling sensation

I find that the most unusual aspect of it is when there is no physical contact between you and the person. It is almost understandable that it should happen when somebody is, for example, cutting your hair because of the physical stimulation of the nerve endings in your scalp/neck.

It is really interesting that some of you have said that it does not really occur with a loved one. I hadn’t thought of that but it is entirely true. It seems that the intensity of the feeling is inversely proportional to the emotional bond you have with the person causing this effect.

I wonder that if it is possible to construct a situation where one could experience this feeling ad infinitum? Or is part of the sensation caused by the knowledge that it is so short lived?
I would like to create a name for this effect if there isn’t one already. Any suggestions?
