Over the past week I have had 2 really vivid and long dreams about my parents. It was cool, because they died about 5 years ago, and it was almost like visiting with them. Can’t remember dreaming about them before. Wonder why now, and twice in a week? ---

I have a series of recurring dreams in which I have mad sex with Dennis Rodman, who happens to have a detachable penis. In the last dream I had, I detached said penis, put it in a Ziploc bag, and carried it around with me until Jim Belushi, who was playing a cop, apprehended me and made me give it back. ---

Last night, I dreamed about thanksgiving at my grandparents house. I wanted to make angel food cake and a custard to go on it, but I didn’t have any recipes. My grandfather said that he didn’t have any cookbooks, but had a book that had some recipes in it - he thought that one of them might be custard. The book was called “What to do When_She_ is Gone”, it was a guide for recent widowers. I thought that was odd, because my gram is fine, though she was absent in the dream - I mean, she was there, just off camera. I found a custard recipe, but it was real batchelor cooking. There were eggs and cream in it, but it called for two cans of coke to sweeten it with. I’m diabetic, and two cans of coke in a recipe is right out, but I figured I’d just have to make do with un-custarded cake, and I’d make it for everyone else. It _looked_ right, but then it boiled down too far, and it was like pizza dough. I thinned it out with milk, and then it had to cook down again. This time, it cooked down too far again, it was curdy and caramel colored and it tasted just like spoiled milk. I thinned it with milk again and watched it closely this time. It looked like it was going to be ok this time, and then I woke up. ---
