I was reading [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=62128) when I noticed something I’d never seen before. A poster named Authur provides a link to the thread he’s posting in. It was obviously intentional, and it fit right in with what he was saying, but honestly, why? I’m reading the thread, I don’t need a link to it! This is the thread to share strange things you’ve seen done on this message board. Anyone got any others?

The “post your desktop” thread. Geez. That one made smoke come out of the back of my CPU every time I loaded MPSIMS.
