Brodway’s Carols for a Cure feature a lot of such songs, including Avenue Q’s [The Holi-Daze](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Rclrvxj_x4), which was cut from the show in tryouts, but thankfully they recorded it. ---

Fred Schneider of the B-52’s has a side band, the Superions. I was at a party last weekend, hosted by a friend of mine who has…ummm…eclectic tastes in music. He had a big playlist of holiday songs he was playing on the stereo, which included tracks from a holiday album by the Superions, “[Destination… Christmas!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Destination..._Christmas!)” My friend was very eager for all of us to hear his two favorite tracks from the album: “Fruitcake” and “Christmas Conga (Jungle Bells).” Let’s just say that they definitely aren’t your normal Christmas songs. ---
