I think the track “Que Pasa Contigo” featuring Ibrahim Ferrer of the Buena Vista Social Club on the Gorillaz album is kind of bizarre. Not really a duet though.

Nick Cave and Kylie Minogue on “Where the Wild Roses Go” is an interesting choice. But since it acheives the exact effect that Nick Cave was looking for (innocent beautiful girl murdered by dark brooding man), it probably works pretty well.

There is also the bizarre spectacle of Serge Gainsbourg performing a reggae version of “La Marseilles” (“Aux Armes Et Cetera”) with Bob Marley’s backup singers.

> And my point about the imdb2 has been made. With one quick search, the name of that movie was [\*\*Duets](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0134630/)\*\*. See what I mean? We need an internet music database.

Or you need to visit [The All Music Guide](http://www.allmusic.com)

Pinky and the Brain, natch.

One’s a genius, the other’s insane.

Hakim (Egyptian singer hugely popular in the Arab world) and James Brown. I think he’s also recorded with Stevie Wonder.

This has also been narrated by David Bowie, to very good effect.
