Cuervo pretends to bury things. Like his food dish when it’s empty, he’ll paw it like it’s poop in his sandbox. He also has a gray Beanie Baby cat that he’s been having cat sex with since he was six months old. He’ll drag her somewhere, like the stairs, or our bed, or the hallway and go at her. Then abandon her. Wherever he finishes with her, there she stays because no one here is picking her up to move her. We call her Margarita. Get it? Cuervo…Margarita…? ---

Biscuit loves to put stuff in the dog’s water dish. I have to check it a couple of times a day, because she will invariably find something to put in it. My [Oreobrat](http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3050/2471456057_4cc71cb0b3_o.jpg) will bump up under your arm to demand to be petted, and then once you start petting her she gets an annoyed look on her face and starts grooming herself where you petted her. When she’s done she demands petting again. And the cycle continues. [Lunabrat](http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2268/2426888218_2af69aef35.jpg) drools. And teleports. I couldn’t find her today and spent 20 minutes going through the house calling her. I even looked outside in case she snuck out the door. I finally found her sitting demurely on my daughter’s bed - exactly where she _wasn’t_ five minutes before. ---

He never makes that odd noise except when he’s got a mouthful of my delicates. Sometimes I’ll wake up to find a pile of clothes on the end of my bed. I wish I knew what it meant. ---

One of my mom and sister’s cats will, when you pet her butt, start grooming her right leg corresponding to how hard you are petting her. As soon as you stop, she will stop doing that. It’s really comical how much like clockwork it is. ---

My fat marmalade tabby likes to chew and lick plastic. He especially likes the plastic rings that hold soda 6-packs together. Our dear departed Rocky, the Best Cat Ever, preferred running water to water in a dish. We would usually leave a faucet dripping for him when we were not home. Yeah, somewhat wasteful, but it’s our own well and not likely to run dry. Our Sweet Sara prefers, and sometimes insists upon, being petted while she eats. She can have a full food dish and will come around mewing and coaxing until someone follows her to the dish and strokes her. ---

He pounces on and attacks everything, moving or not, but then he’s just a kitten and I guess that’s what kittens do. [Here’s](http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4727023224639745361&hl=en) a video of my little guy pouncing at the camera a few times and then tearing my hand to shreds. ---

My cat Havanna sometimes eats with his paws. He grabs some food and eats it from his paw. Right now he is snoring on the sofa. My parents cat Purzel likes to attack their dog. And once she was sitting on the window sill and caught a bat flying outside of my window. ---

I have three. They all have their peccadilloes, but Caviar probably has the strangest. She: –lies on the bathroom floor while I’m in the shower. As soon as I step out, she looks at me, meows, jumps in and drinks out of the dripping faucet and licks the water off the shower wall. –drinks water out of the bowl by dipping her paw in and licking the water off. ---

When I’m sitting on the couch, my cat Miss Jody will come and sit next to me. She’ll sit and stare at me, and I mean she STARES. She’s got eyes like those kids in velvet paintings. All the while, she’ll be purring, although I haven’t made a move towards her. If I am slow to pet her, she has started to reach out and bat at me to get me moving with the petting. Jodie is also the most social cat you will ever know. Everyone who walks through the door is her best friend. When the cable guy came over when I moved to a new apartment, she walked back and forth on top of the couch, rubbing against him. My other cat, Sunshine, will lay across my lap, and bury her face in my elbow. I forgot one of Crash’s crazy things. He has a love-hate relationship with water. If we leave the toilet lid up, he will play in the toilet and splash water everywhere. He’s also been known to jump in the shower with us. He doesn’t mind getting his paws wet, but once he does he starts shaking them off and water gets everywhere. Anything more than his paws and he freaks, though, which is funny when he gets stuck in the shower and can’t figure out how to get out through the maze of curtains. ---

Cat Evie, Boobah, Miz Bibble…many names for a loved pet, is a water baby. She will go out in the rain, unlike the other two cats, just doesn’t seem to care about it. Her fave way to wake up is “Shower Time Pal”… when I’m in the shower, she jumps up on the narrow metal bar that defines the prefab unit shower, and watches, sometimes putting her paw into the shower stream, fascinated, or puts her paw on my wet shoulder…purring the whole time, obviously enjoying it. Of my three cats, she is the boldest, and most playful. I love that, because she started life with a slit throat; I found her that way as a tiny injured kitten in the garage. More surgeries since to fix the damage. So worth it, she’s such an extraordinary cat, in a lifetime full of great feline companions. ---

My cat Meeko used to love to jump onto my lap, while i’m at the computer, and sleep like a baby (on his back with his head in the crook of my arm). It was hard to type when he did that.
