**Ever just wonder where the pain goes when it stops?** I swear, sometimes my brain will come up with the oddest questions when I just let it wander. Maybe I should buy it a leash or something… So, what odd thoughts have you had lately? ---

Did the first guy who invented masking tape have to sit there and roll it onto the spool by hand? ---

Usually SoC only works when I’m either really tired or really tired and have taken quiet a few sinus meds. I’m not close to either right now, sadly. ---

This guy in my clas has the most gorgeous eyes. I just kept looking across the room at them, and writing what came into my mind about them… _eyes the colour of tea with honey deep and soulful bright and cheerful sad and frightened warm and passionate intelligent and insightful wonderfully multifaceted hopeful and kind smiling and curious wide open and laughing long, dark eyelashes that come out to greet you you could stare at them and see forever._ Mmmmmmm, I’d love to look at them forever. ---

I go on some really oddball ramblings when I’m tired. When I was in high school, I’d usually get up at 6 for school on Fridays and go out after football games, usually not going to bed until 2 or 3 in the morning…and after a week of sleep deprivation (4-5 hours a night, yay for high school), you better believe I was borderline delirious by 2 AM Friday night. One that nags me: What is the sound of silence? No matter how quiet it is, you can still hear something if you concentrate. Did mining companies keep emergency canaries just hanging around? Who fed them? ---

Silence is the ringing in your ears after the ringing of the bell has faded…the little place inside your head where you can just say “I am”…the sound that follows the soft \ of the canary falling from its perch and precedes the loud \s of miners’ footfalls…the sound of one rat sinking–no wait, that’s more like \…the song of the gneechees, who sing the music the filthy scarecrow dances to when you aren’t looking where he would be if you weren’t looking there…the sound a pet goat makes when his mouth is sealed with masking tape and the cherry tree cannot hear his screams in space…After midnight, after midnight… ---
