# Stuck at home while the SWAT team searches the area!

Well.

This is going on right next door - I can see the “crime scene investigation” van from my back door, and there are police officers walking around with VERY big guns.

I _already_ have to convince my mother that moving to this area was not a crazy idea. This is not going to help my case.

My daughter’s elementary school went on lockdown yesterday when some asshole robbing that Bank of America nearby exited the lobby and fired a number of shots into the air.

Fair number of people are resorting to desperate measures and economically things aren’t going to improve anytime soon.

I’d be all Gladys Kravitz…peering out between the drapes and on the phone with anyone who’d listen.

This happened to a co-worker who got trapped at the doctor’s office while the SWAT team did their thing. I had just been at the doctor that morning. Glad I didn’t get trapped there. Drugs + Desperadoes = PANIC

They were talking about the robbery here at work. I didn’t know they had a chase only a couple of miles from here.
