I just graduated from college in May, and I’ve got about $13000 in subsidized and unsubsidized Federal Stafford student loans. I’d like to do the consolidation thing and squash them into one reasonable monthly payment with one of those super-low-interest-rates they’ve been talking about lately. I’ve gotten all sorts of stuff in the mail wih phone numbers and interest numbers and payment numbers and all that, and I’m a little overwhelmed. Can someone tell me the best, cheapest, easiest way to handle all this, preferably online because I hate doing things over the phone? Any other advice would be appreciated as well. Thanks! 🙂
