According to [NBC’s site](http://www.nbc.com/Studio_60_on_the_Sunset_Strip/) , Studio 60 will be returning May 24. There’s just no there there. Sorkin writing his own fantasies is sort of like a barber cutting his own hair. It can be done, but Jesus. ---

A writer from TV guide was on the radio last weekend and said they’re just going to burn off the remaining episodes (notice - after sweeps). So yeah, it beEee dead. ---

But they struck \*\*Farscape’s \*\* sets, too! So there’s hope! Actually, naw, there’s nothing. I guess I’ll have to rely on \*\*Boston Legal \*\* to get my left-winger rantings. 😉 ---

Dead show walking unless there’s a near miracle. It would have to get phenomenal ratings to be uncancelled at this point. Still it’s nice that they’ll show the remaining episodes. Flawed as the show was, I’ll watch them. ---

The scuttlebutt is when NBC announces their new lineup for the upfronts, \*Studio 60 \*will not be there. They’re also shelving _Scrubs_, to bring back “as needed.” ---

Especially since that’s been Scrubs position for the last two seasons atleast. ---

Any bets his next arena will be HBO/Showtime/Cinemax? I’m thinking he will be too disgusted with network TV, and although he is a brilliant writer, to quote Abby Bartlet, he has an ego the size of Montana, and will not stoop to catering to those network schlubs again any time soon.
