I am a boring kind of person, so I can glom onto most of the topics mentioned here. Television (how can people watch this for so many hours a day?) Food (please someone invent people chow) Watching Sports (specifically pro) Talking on the phone Facebook (I use this as a contacts list) Coffee (all the frilly coffee is really an admission that coffee inherantly tastes terrible and that you have to mask it with creme, sugar, chocolate, etc so that normal people can stomach it) The enormity of Christmas (consumerism to the max!) Yogurt (Spoiled milk) Harry Potter Some of these combine to be eye-clawingly boring: A cooking television show about preparing christmas-themed dishes ---

I don’t care about most of the things mentioned so far, but the main ones are movies, Facebook, sports, and Christmas. Well, FB and Xmas I actively dislike and want them to stop existing. Movies and sports are fine as long as I don’t have to be involved. ---

Baths and hot tubs. Sitting in warm water for what? It’s just people soup. Beer and wine. Never developed that taste for either, although I love the smell of beer (and a guy who has had a beer and smells of beer, I could kiss for hours, and then some) Video games. Don’t have the coordination. Sports. All sports, any sports. Just not interested. Parties. Standing (or sitting) and making small talk just seems like a waste of time. I’d much rather be reading. Shopping. Go in the store, get what you want and leave. Browsing through a store? I’d rather be subjected to waterboarding. Talking on the phone. Hate it, always have (even as a teen). Going to the beach. All that sun, the wind, the people and the water that I won’t swim in (see Martin Bigfoot’s post for my similar reasons) just is not an enjoyable experience. Plus, as weird as it sounds, all those waves are so _noisy_. ---

Wow, a lot of disdain for Chistmas. I sort of get it, but it’s so not me. What’s funny is that I have a friend who will not go anywhere during December, as she might encounter a pine tree or tiny light. I almost have her convinced to have dinner with me soon, but only because I found a Jewish restaurant that doesn’t put up any decorations. I’m suddenly aware of how it’s almost impossible to avoid Christmas. ---
