My friend gets very paranoid over the dangers of STD’s, which has stopped her from having sex until she meets someone she is comfortable with and who she thinks will deal with her safety precautions without causing great discomfort to her.

So the guy she chose did not work because he has some problem with his penis. It has too many “bumps” as she described them. I have not the slightest idea of how embarrassing the bedroom scene must have been when they did not go through with the sex because of his bumps. Now they are going to a doctor to prove that he does not have an STD. He says they are cysts.

Would you get scared like my friend or would you ignore the bumps and go through with it? Then, would you have sex with someone who as cysts on their penis?

Guys with cysts, do woman notice them? Have you ever had a really embarrassing episode when they did?

I’m not a woman, but I can’t fault erring on the side of caution. Each customer only comes with one set of plumbing.

I had one ‘bump’ on mine, suspected of being HPV (a VERY common STD). It turned out to be a clogged pore. If I were a woman with a new guy, I would wait until diagnosis of such ‘bumps’ before sex. In my case, it if HAD been HPV, the most likely candidate for the host was my then-new-bride-now-ex-wife.

Given that Cecil’s position on this is that to avoid contractable unfortunatenesses one needs to be a little bit fussy about one’s partners, sounds like she’s doing okay.

There’s two types of ‘bumps’ which are perfectly normal but which can cause worry. One is on the scrotum and base of the shaft, small hard bumps within the skin - they’re just hair follicles, visible because the skin is so thin. The other ones small white dots around the base of the glans, which are glands that produce lubrication.
