Very good satirical take. I loved the guess list of rap songs that white people love. Next time my street has a block party, I want to see if I can just play all these in a row and get a rep as the best local MC evah! Technically there are a decent number of non-white-bread-and-mayonaisse folks on my block, but it’s still pretty Wonderbread. ---

This seems pretty bang on, so long as one defines white as upper class new-england snobby liberal white. Doesn’t seem to match the white folks I have known in Nashville, Dallas, Denver, Florida or Phoenix one bit. And what is it with the New-York times crowd and their fascination with French? Is it worth going to the trouble of learning such a capricious language merely as a symbol of wealth and sophistication? Cause it can’t be for for practical reasons. French is spoken in France, the Quebec province in Canada, and various African and S.E. Asian third world countries. Mandarin or Spanish makes way more sense. Oh, but wait, Spanish is for poor people and talking to the maid. Can’t have that now… -trupa, white, who grew up in French, and wishes he spoke Spanish. ---

I don’t think White folk love difficult breakups so much as consider them inevitable and act accordingly. Also, that picture of Sarah Silverman is the most fetching I’ve seen of her in a long time. ---

The blogger failed to include NASCAR, Country music, fishing trips, gun collections, pickup trucks, The _Left Behind_ books, Civil war re-enactments, deer season, Jesus fish car ornaments, “support our troops” yellow ribbons, and the Republican Party. ---

[/QUOTE] So true. This is what white folks in my area like for sure. Add duck and turkey hunting its a holiday here. The public schools actually close for a day or two during deer seasons. They might as well because all the little rednecks 😉 girls too, will be in “THE DEER WOODS”. They also like Christian Rock. ---
