Perhaps one day all people will realize that that Islam, Christianity, Judaism, Shintoism, Wicca, and all religions are merely fictions with sometimes useful ethical guidelines (like a fable or parable), and not to be used for excuses to kill. IMHO, of course. But it’s hard to argue that a significant amount of people have found reasons or justifications to kill over interpretations of Mother Goose. ---

**december** could you please let us know what the statute of limitations on the crime of being a bunch of homocidial religious fanatics is? How long has to pass before they’re considered “changed”? In this conversation I’m limiting myself to the crusades. Is the tendency of Christians to declare and execute heinous religious war now so far in the past as to be irrelevant to decisions we make today?
