If that happened, yes, I wouldn’t vote for him. I consider theft and abandoning your post a rather large breach of the public trust. Technically, he didn’t steal the funds, he embezzled them. Theft is taking something you have no possessory rights in. Embezzlement is converting something entrusted to you for your own use. ---
