What children’s movies are far below your level of maturity and intelligence, and of which you shouldn’t lower yourself to enjoying, and yet when they come on TV you can’t help but watching? _Goonies_, although I never consider that one a “kid’s movie”-it’s really for everyone. My picks: _The Little Rascals_ _My Girl_ _The Parent Trap_ (the original with Hayley Mills, not the remake with Lo-Ho) _Follow that Bird_ _Big Bird Goes to China_ ---

_The Emperor’s New Groove_ is easily one of the stupidest Disney theatrical release, but I still end up watching it everytime I surf across it. My extremely flimsy excuse is that Kronk (Patrick Warburton) has a few extreme [Brock Sampson](http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/538/538198p1.html) moments. And David Spade & John Goodman are a surprisingly entertaining comedic duo. ---

I’ll second, third, and fourth _The Goonies_. Utterly silly, but good grief, that movie rocks. Other votes go to: _Explorers_ _The Bad News Bears_ (the original version) _The Black Stallion_ _Time Bandits_ (As a kid, I didn’t appreciate how this movie was just filled with [great quotes](http://imdb.com/title/tt0081633/quotes). Now, as an adult, I do. Underrated flick, actually.) _The Neverending Story_ (although I prefer the book on which it is based) ---

Not that I see it coming on TV often… or at all… but… _The Land Before Time_ Specifically, that’s the first one, not the plethora of straight to video sequels. Saddens me to read the “Date of Death” details on IMDB, though, for the little girl who voiced Duckie. “Yup yup yup!” Also fond of _The Neverending Story_ (again, the first, not the sequels). ---

People are ashamed to like **The Goonies, Pee Wee’s Big Adventure, The Parent Trap, Emperor’s New Groove, The Bad News Bears (the original version), The Black Stallion, Time Bandits, The Neverending Story, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp** and **The Princess Diaries**? I see no shame whatsoever in liking those movies. ---
