# Stupid customers:  What not to do when dining out

You want bad behavior? How about the guy who cussed me out and then demanded that we give his whole party their meals free because I brought his teenage daughter _exactly what she ordered?_ The girl ordered a breakfast that didn’t come with a meat, and then it was apparently my fault that I didn’t bring them bacon. When I was then unable to snap my fingers and make the bacon appear in 30 seconds and he started bitching, I finally just snapped and said “Sir, the cooks are taking the bacon intended for someone else’s meal and sending it out to you the very second a batch gets done, and the only way I can get it out to you any faster is to bring it out half-raw. I don’t think any of us wants that.” That’s when he asked for a manager.

When the manager politely declined to reward them for their idiocy and assholishness, the guy started in because I’d had to make a second trip to get all the food for a party of seven, which resulted in some of them having to wait a whole minute or so. I got 45 cents off their $40 check.

You have no idea how many times I’ve been yelled at by people who have forgotten what they’ve ordered. I don’t see how difficult it is to remember what you got. I remember it, along with what everyone else at your table has and what four other tables are eating.
