Stupid girl, parents, media

Oh, I think she’s gonna be some kind of “dictorian.”

I’m behind the girl and her parents. It is terrible that the school and yearbook are standing between her and her desired future career in porn.

At least she’ll have lots of people saluting.

Enjoy,
Steven

Good thing this whole thing got shut down so no one is creepily leering at the pictures now.

Bahhh…

If your yearbook picture isn’t covered in zits, has a hairstyle that isn’t already out of date, has braces, makes you look nerdy as hell, or isn’t in some other manner a pic that is almost guaranteed to NOT get you laid in the near future it ain’t a proper yearbook pic.

Hookers for hire can go to Craigs List in a pinch.

That’s all? I was expecting something a lot racier.

Yeah, that’s all… Y’all are a bunch of fucking prudes.

On second thought I’d tap that.

Anybody have mom’s email address (interested in a threesome doncha know)?

I’m honestly shocked at the amount of slut-shaming being directed at an eighteen year old for doing nothing more than posing in a somewhat risqué picture. No, it isn’t appropriate for the yearbook in my opinion, but some of these comments are shameful. No one on here knows if she sleeps around, and if she did, it still wouldn’t be a judgment on her character. She’s practically a kid, for god’s sake.

Then why is she possing like a hooker?

Actually, it’s the trying to put that picture in the yearbook that’s a mark on her character (and certainly her parents’). It’s not slut-shaming, it’s attention-whore admonishing.

I graduated in 2004 and we were allowed to submit photos to the year book ourselves (only the seniors). We did have a regular ol’ picture day, which would be used n the year book if you didn’t submit something else.

How dare the school abridge this poor girl’s 1st Amendment rights?
I’ll write a check to the Colorado ACL right away!

I graduated in 1989 (shut up), and we submitted our own photos, although if I remember correctly there was a list of “recommended” local photography studios we had to use.

This.

I graduated in 86 and seniors submitted their own photos. Our school had been doing this since at least the 70s.

You said “behind.” Huh huh huh huh.

Barely legal teen wears short skirt. We’ll bring you that story and more! Only on Action News, your news leader.

Yup and likely the masses will eat it up just like they happily slurp up shit like Snookie or the Kardashians or the real housewives of Wherever. Her parents will be proud because she’ll be famous and rich.

I’m willing to bet that many parents will settle for trashy if it comes with rich and famous.

I think a lot of people in this thread are overstating this. The girl wanted to use a “glamor shot” picture for her yearbook photo. That’s really all it is. It’s not a sex tape a la Kardashian, for Christ’s sake. Besides, you see far more racier shit than that picture in just about every form of media besides radio.

I understand why she did it, I understand why the yearbook said no, but for the life of me I don’t understand why the media seems to think I need to know about it.
