And they probably don’t drop hot brass on their stuff while reloading naked. Because they at least seem safety conscious and that sounds unsafe. ---

Obtain a pre-recall Blackhawk or other non-hammerblock design handgun. Should be easy, you seem to think them common. Load an empty primed cartridge under the lowered hammer. “Handle” the packaged handgun until you get the primer to go off with the package in your hands. Tell us how you managed this. Hell, go to Toys R Us, get a capgun and some caps and do it. Capguns have no safety devices and the little red plastic caps are more sensitive to impact than pistol primers. ---
