The gun is the worst possible way to address _any_ problem (aside from maybe a rabid coyote). I mean, the good guys with guns hid in a classroom and waited for the police at the Umpqua Community College shootfest, rather than try to take the guy down. ---

Didn’t feel like starting a new thread so thought I’d ask here. I live in Colorado currently. My neighbor carries a gun stuck in his back waistband. No holster or anything, it’s just tucked there. Sometimes he pulls his shirt down over it, sometimes not. Is this open carry or concealed carry? Is a holster optional? ---

I’m not from the CO area, but generally speaking, it’s considered open carry if the visible part is readily identifiable as a weapon. A quick search reveals that no permit is required for concealed carry on your own property which is the standard for most states as well. ---
