Is he still a good guy after he becomes a killer? You obviously haven’t come to grips with that yet. And do tell us more about what constitutes a tyrannical government that must (and can!) be resisted by a few yahoos with their peashooters. That’s endlessly entertaining. ---

They were aiming to burn down the other half the second night but the storeowners (faced with the destruction of their livelihoods) armed themselves and the show of force prevented any more stores in Koreatown from being looted or burned down. Those TVs represented the livelihoods of the families that own those stores, should the storeowners have let their stores be looted and resigned themsleves to the ruin of their families? It really seems like you are defending the right of criminals to commit crimes without fear of injury or death. If there are grievances against the police, then that’s fine. But why should the the families of these storeowners be ruined? ---

Yes, I know, you are deeply inarticulate, preferring to express your feelings and opinions with your trigger finger, which is not really allowed anywhere on SDMB; perhaps you can find a ghost-writer to PM, who can edit you bile and vitriol to make palatable but still visceral enough to satisfy you as well as the mods. Or you can just keep getting more and more irritable, until you finally do actually kill someone out of frustration.
