I, for one, am SHOCKED that increasing the number of concealed guns on the streets leads to an increase in gun-related incidents. That goes against everything that “An armed society is a polite society” stands for! ---

Right, ISTM carrying concealed is simply hoping something will happen so you can act out your hero fantasies. If you wanted to actually \*deter \*the Bad Guys, you’d carry it openly where they can see it. Unless you want to keep the cops from seeing it first, thinking _you’re_ a bad guy, and shooting \*you \*instead. They can’t tell, so how can anyone else? Hell, how do you know it _yourself_? ---
