Dylan Ruffin, age 26, was arrested in Johnson County, Kansas for firing a rifle into an elementary school where children were present and pointing his gun at police when they arrived to arrest him. Note that he’s white, and therefore wasn’t shot down on the spot. He is about to be released from jail on $500,000 bail. Mister Ruffin’s grandfather is Phil Ruffin, co-owner of the Trump International Las Vegas hotel and a major contributor to Individual 1 (Individual 1 was the best man at Phil’s wedding in 2008). Here’s one for the _Guns are wonderful, give me a hard-on and make me very very happy_ thread, but I’ll save a click and post it here. [A Boulder Colorado black man was apprehended for collecting trash in his own front yard.](https://edition.cnn.com/2019/03/07/us/colorado-police-black-man-picking-trash-trnd/index.html) The black presented ID but apparently was too sassy because, despite that he now knew the black’s innocence, the cop called for backup. Soon the black was surrounded by eight cops, all with their hands on their guns, insisting that the black drop his “weapons” (a bucket and tong for collecting trash). The story ended up as a triumph for gun lovers: despite his sassiness the black didn’t even lose his life! One must admire the courage of these cops who outnumbered the “suspect” only 8 to 1. With such atrocious odds, who’d have blamed them for emptying their magazines into the thug as a defensive precaution? And we should be grateful there were eight cops available to face down the bucket wielder: If only five or six cops had turned up the risk might have been too great not to go for a kill. ---

Well, once someone fired, the police had no way to know if the perp was shooting at them or one of the cops had fired. So, at that point, they really had no choice but to take him down with extreme prejudice. ---
