Is it too much to ask that you not bring up the opinions of idiots when you are not talking to idiots? Or that you stop assuming that “regulation” and “ban” mean the same thing? And your criticism of which guns are to be “proscribed” rings a little hollow as you simultaneously insist that none of them should be. Is the AWB bill too reasonable for you, you want to goad them into doing something worse? This is new territory, here, things are bound to get clumsy. Now, if you want to pipe up and say “Hey, you dummies forgot to ban these, therefore, you aren’t smart enough to ban any!” They might just say “Thank you for your input, citizen! Hey, guys, these too! Add 'em in, we’ll call them the \*\*Lumpy \*\*Addition in his honor…” Speaking for myself, I’d be damned proud of you, hoss! ---

I am not an automotive engineer. Couldn’t tell a Chevrolet from a Ford. When I listen to _Car Tal_k, its because I like those guys, no idea what the hell they are talking about. So I’m not entitled to an opinion about regulating automobiles? ---
