I am sure that we can all see how nobody would have been hospitalized if everybody there had a gun. Nobody would have been wounded by this maniac. ---

[Another senseless murder](http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/04/09/two-teens-charged-in-shooting-death-of-14-year-old/). If only this poor 14 year old could have afforded the tools needed to defend himself. We should start a fund, a humanitarian charity, to provide duly permitted weapons and concealed carry permits to these innocent inner city youths so they can defend themselves. ---

Yeesh, I thought this string of people shot by four year olds was never going to end, I am glad that this guy was able to protect himself. ---

I bet they were armed. This isnt stupid gun news. This is every day gun tragedy, the sort of thing that licensing and registration could reduce but an AWB would do almost nothing to mitigate. Heck I have guns that are almost exclusively for BBQs. They tend to be real shiny wheelguns that you could hunt a moose with. Of course they’re unloaded (I dont even keep ammo for them in the house, they’re entirely impractical and each round costs more than a pound of ground beef) so I can pass then to anyone that want to admire the firearm. ---

I agree. Granted he would probably have a gun too if i had my way, but so what. He would have capped three, four people tops before someone took him down. That is 10 or 11 less people we have to pay for medical coverage for. Win=win. ---
