I think you may be extrapolating just a bit from the news account. It said he “brandished” a gun, which could mean a variety of things. It doesn’t necessarily mean he pointed the gun at the workers and there is certainly nothing in the article that said they were “held at gunpoint.” We can assume he was threatening in some manner but the details are not stated. On the other hand, a gun was actually fired at police officers. ---

I haven’t seen this incident posted in other threads so maybe it should go here. Actually, maybe it should to in the positive gun news thread since it involves a good guy with a gun gunning down a bad guy with a gun. The only problem is, the bad guy with a gun appears to be a conservative and the good guy with the gun appears to be a commie pinko leftist. So, I’m torn where it really goes. This was the police seizing an opportunity to politicize the event. Whoever put this statement out is a piece of shit. ---
