Then there’s a definite non-zero chance of a second scoop of ice-cream on that gun oil tasting cone. ---

Back when I was a kid (and dinosaurs ruled the earth) kids would have a fight… which was more like a wrestling match… over taunts like this. There might have been scrapes, dirty clothes, and the two kids would scuttle away at the end exhausted. Their parents would punish them… maybe make them go to bed w/o supper… and the next day the kids started over. Sure, it was barbaric… but it worked. ---

It’s the rose colored glasses I guess. Scrapes heal, kids forgive & get over it, they were going to out-grow those jeans in 6 months anyway, and if you cut a square out of the last pair of jeans they grew out of and sew it on as a patch, you can barely see the tear. And everyone was still able to sit down at the table for dinner. And everyone finished the school year. And life went on for everybody… life went on… ---
