I have actually seen set ups - usually in RV’s or boats, but sometimes very small apartments - where the showerhead is directly over the toilet. Or, conversely, the toilet is set in the bottom of the shower stall. So… yay, you have a built in shower chair? But you have a toilet in your shower.

My in-laws had an RV that we borrowed from them one time that had this setup. It’s actually called a “wet bath” for a reason:D

What I dislike more than the double vanity sinks are the “vessel sinks” that are trendy now. These are the ones that sit on top of the countertop, rather than having the rim at countertop level and the bowl below it.

OK, that’s weird. (For those unwilling to follow the link, it’s to a short Instagram video in which Kim Kardashian demonstrates her bathroom sink. There’s a faucet set into a countertop and what appears to be a drain set flush into the countertop but no sink. The trick is that there is a very slight slope around the drain, so the water does drain.) Who knows? Maybe others will copy the idea and it will be the next big thing.

Have you considered simply keeping the large can outside? That’s what people without garages usually do, but there’s nothing stopping you from doing that just because you have a garage.

Yes, there is. City Ordinance. It cannot be visible from the street.

Check the wording of the ordinance. It might specifically state that the trash can may not be visible from the street. In which case, a trash can cozy would prevent the trash can from being visible from the street (except to Superman because X-ray vision, but it’s unlikely that he lives in your city).

And weren’t you saying just last week that you’d like to take up a hobby? Crocheting a trash can cozy sounds like a really fun and fundamentally easy project!
