No worries. Just another day in Paradise. Riots, floods, terrorists, trannies. Ho-hum.
[But looks like there’s still one or two out there](http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/security/280386/police-seek-2-more-over-blasts). One is a named 52-year-old Iranian seen leaving the house shortly before the explosions. I’ve heard from sources that he’s believed to be the mastermind in a local operation, while the three stooges caught up in this earlier were just that – stooges.

We now know the Bangkok blasts were similar to ones in India and Georgia (country, not US state). Thailand is being [praised for its response](http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics/nation/bangkok-on-its-feet-delhi-gropes-in-the-dark/articleshow/11924236.cms).
Excerpt: \*\*"Thailand was swift off the blocks after bombs ripped through its capital Bangkok, but even 72 hours later, India is still groping for clues.
## “In what can only be called shoddy investigation, Delhi cops picked everything possible from the blast site from the bumper of the car to the tyre with bare hands. However, this doesn’t hold true for their Thai counterparts, who handled the probe in a more professional and scientific manner.”\*\*
Also, initial reports were that the one bomb bounced back at the goofus after hitting a tree. Now they’re saying it bounced off a passing pickup truck. Good stuff either way. 😃

I don’t know what is more amusing, Butterfingers blowing himself up twice in the span of about half an hour or the idiotic face saving statements from government officials.

Actually those bombs used to be made in Ohio but those jobs have been exported overseas.
Now if you had American Union workers making these bombs, you would get a quality product.

Let me see if I understand… The fact that the same method for attack is used is an evidence that Iranians did it? Brilliant!
Am I crazy if I’d suggest that perhaps it raises a possibility that both, attacks on Iranian scientists AND attacks in Israeli diplomats, are works of the same unit? Iranian one, of course 😃

I think that if the Israelis hadn’t whacked the Iranians, they would be vehemently denying it instead of saying things like, “Golly, it sure is dangerous to be an Iranian nuclear physicist these days.”

I’m not sure you really got what I suggested is going on. There are, you know, Iranians who would have no problem killing Iranian nuclear scientists. The same ones who were the first to inform West about Iranian nuclear facilities. You know, Iran’s very own Chalabi types 😉

The plot thickens: [they’ve found a motorcycle](http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/local/280509/police-find-bomb-gang-motorcycle) bought by one of the stooges. Speculation is they were going to use it to drive up to vehicles and magnerically attach the bombs. Seems a buit complicated, especially for these bozos.

A couple more odd statements: “The bombs used were just small bombs. I don’t think they would be used for terror purposes.” – General Panlop Pinmanee, an adviser to the prime minister
And: “Some bad people made some bombs. There was an explosion. That’s the end of it.” – Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat,
I think they really are taking it seriously behind the scenes, where there is probably a lot going on. They’re always so terrified of scaring off tourists that they tend to come up with some real idiocies in public.

Just how many tourist visit Thailand from Iran? My naive and sophomoric take is that that Thais would be be angry at the Iranians for drawing them into their problems and screwing up there tourist dollars; banning Iranians from visiting Thailand for a short period would strike me as a way of saying: “Go blow 'em up elsewhere; we’re off limits.” What Iran going to do? Invade? They’ve ended up looking stupid and reckless.
Or does Thailand depend on Iranian oil, and that’s all that needs to be said?
