If Wikipedia is accurate, the Huffington Post deliberately started off as a counter to the Druge Report. So I am pitting them for emphasizing non news worthy stories to try to make Obama look good. Which isn’t to say he shouldn’t look slightly good for this. Or conversely that Congress has nothing to do with deficits nor surpluses, obviously they have even moreso to do with them than Obama does. I just was slightly peeved at the slight bait and switch I felt for a millisecond when I read this and I thought that rather than start a whole Pit thread about it, I’d continue on with the SLIotD since this was more of a minirant. ---

If the last two are true, then you are not paying attention. I mean really, really not paying attention to anything. And how is this a stupid Liberal idea anyway?
