I didn’t say he was not. This whole argument started with a simple post of mine saying that given what happened with a person almost entering the US with ebola, that the President should be engaged on the issue and make sure the CDC has everything it needs in terms of resources and procedures to deal with a passenger entering the country with ebola. Other posters interpreted that as blaming him for something. That’s some pretty thin skin there. ---

It’s your own fault if every post you make about Obama is picked over. You’ve demonstrated such bad judgement and poor analysis about him due to your extremely negative obsession with the man, that you shouldn’t be surprised that your implications are picked up, challenged, and mocked. ---

Pelosi and Reid are racking up a pretty impressive record of their own on Politifact. Pelosi’s is comparable to Cruz’s(although in her case we can write it off to being dim bulb. Cruz has no excuse). ---

What’s part for the course is you not seeing the irony. It’s my fault that my words got taken the wrong way because of my record of attacking Obama. The same argument applies to the President. He has a record of his agencies failing him, so that’s going to produce doubt about how those agencies will perform in the future. The reaction to my post was as much about faith in Obama’s competence as it was about me. It was a defensive reaction to a President who every liberal Doper doubts is actually paying attention to this issue. ---

For completeness: [Harry Reid](http://www.politifact.com/personalities/harry-reid/) is about 50/50. Still way, way better than lying-liar Cruz. And for ultra-completeness, President [Obama](http://www.politifact.com/personalities/barack-obama/) is way over 50/50 for honesty – around 75% of his statements are at least “half true”. ---

Cruz and Pelosi have an equal percentage of True and Mostly True statements: 18%.
