I’ve got to add Michael Moore to this thread, for his recent stupid tweet, “[…snipers were cowards](https://twitter.com/MMFlint/status/556914094406926336).” _Much_ stupid in that tweet. He deserves all the invective his trolling brought. ---

Frankly, all of the liberal knee-jerk silliness about _American Sniper_ is pretty fucking stupid. Not that the movie is undeserving of criticism, mind you. Just that the politicized, knee-jerk kind is deeply stupid. ---

It reminds me of that fictional propaganda film as well, in that it also honors a sniper and exaggerates his heroism.
