I think we know what she means, and I think that like other celebrities she’ll relent when she is told by her accountant that her finances will be better if she stays here. Raven’s got better things to do with her money than pay for Canadian citizens’ health care. ---

It’s a shame there’s no thread for “Stupid C-list celebrity–who, admittedly, is probably liberal, but we’re perfectly willing to include various Baldwins, like Stephen and Adam (who, while not related, are certainly both batshit), and obviously anyone in a Duck Dynasty, and hell, probably Bruno and Dirty Harry even though they’re not C-listers, but dammit NOT Alice Cooper because even though he’s certainly not liberal he’s still a goddamn national treasure–idea of the day.” . ---

As has been all over the news this morning, Hillary Clinton [happened to be sharing the stage with NY mayor Bill de Blasio](http://in.reuters.com/article/usa-election-clinton-idINKCN0X91P4) at the annual Inner Circle Roast when he delivered the following comedic gem: [Quote=Reuters] This year Leslie Odom Jr., who is black and plays Aaron Burr in the hit Broadway show “Hamilton,” participated in the skit in which Clinton kidded de Blasio about his delay in endorsing her bid for the White House. “Sorry, Hillary, I was running on C.P. Time,” de Blasio said, referring to the phrase “colored people time” used to indicate chronic lateness. “I don’t like jokes like that,” Odom said. Clinton then added: “‘Cautious politician time.’ I’ve been there.” [/Quote] Clunk. And that was not the sound of people laughing their heads off. Well, maybe the Stupid Non-partisan Idea of the day has to do with the notion of career politicians taking away the jobs of good, hardworking American comedians. ---
