There’s no contract. Fox had the right to hold any debate they wanted. They have the right to promote any candidate they want, should they desire to. ---

While the author can hardly be described as “liberal” (at least in the American sense of the term), he also isn’t a Republican sadly enough, so I’m [forced to put this vile article here](http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/06/30/democrats-the-white-working-class-isn-t-voting-for-you-so-stop-pandering-to-them.html?via=mobile&source=twitter) which encourages the Democratic Party to spit on their historic base. ---

That’s the third provocative article by a liberal writer this week alone, along with Rauch’s argument that we have too much democracy and transparency and a Vox writer saying the Revolution was a mistake. I think all three articles are wrong, but I wouldn’t call any of them stupid. The arguments are intelligent and they make good points. ---

the idea that calling Radical Islam what it is would somehow hurt American security, or that there’s any moral equivalence between Israel building settlements as a bargaining chip and Palestinian terrorist evil jihad. Worst ideas from the far left, ever, besides communism. ---

They’d then insist he said “militant radical islamic jihadi terrorism.” Also, why isn’t he wearing his flag pin? Plus I’m pretty sure I saw him in a head scarf once. ---

By not saying “Islam”, they believe that the president is saying that the religion in general is not the problem. Which he is, but they don’t agree. They think saying the words are the first step in getting people to agree that Muslims in general are the problem, and “taking care” of that problem once and for all. It’s really as simple as that. ---
