Hey Clothy, you want to see a staged event? Look at Pence “helping” [with the cleanup.](http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4840672/Pence-heads-rubble-strewn-Texas-town.html) The ground, branches and ground are bone dry. The branches are piled several feet away from the boarded up trailer and don’t appear to need removing. There are no water marks on the trailer. Everyone in the photo are clean. The security perimeter around the VP would interfere with real operations. 5th picture down. Look at all those people who are doing nothing. ---

I’m still not clear how CNN have been “busted” by someone taking a few stills, drawing on them and asserting a new narrative - particularly when, as already pointed out, they can’t even demonstrate that it is the same person in those shots. We certainly appear to be seeing some “fake news” here, but it’s unlikely to be on the part of CNN barring more substantive proof than someone messing around with MS Paint. And if that proof exists, I’d certainly be interested in seeing it (starting with a link to the actual CNN story). C’mon **Clothahump** - you can do better than this. ---

Here is a link on CNN site. I think it’s pretty clear that the guy in the shorts is not the guy who was on camera. The CNN article even says that it was the reporter “and his crew” that helped save the guy. ---

CNN paid the guy in the white pickup to drive his almost-new vehicle into the water? The driver agreed to thank the CNN reporter for saving his life just so he could see his face on TV? Yeah, the claim is that CNN staged the rescue and the anchor changed clothing (for some unknown reason) out in plain sight of the public. I guess he believes it took several takes, just like the movies. There were several identical white trucks, stunt victims and camera crew off to the side. ---
