Most of what Septimus lists, including all of the ‘anti-white’ stuff isn’t Liberal, it is Conservative, Alt-Right crap. Liberals don’t talk about “White Genocide”. That’s a white supremacist thing and they’re almost entirely far right. ---

The headline pretty much says it all: Student Sues University Because She Blocked Traffic and Got Hit by Car During Anti-Trump Protest Hmmm…so you are stupid enough to run out in the middle of an Interstate highway and get hit by a car because you were protesting Trump. And now you think your university should pay you for being that stupid. Poster child for the next generation of stupid liberals. ---

Of course, if you could have been fucked to provide a link to the story, there might have been a little bit of nuance involved. Like, the fact that the student was injured several hours into a protest that the school is alleged to have been aware of and done nothing to stop, that she was injured by a driver deliberately evading emergency vehicles attempting to block traffic, and that the lawsuit is seeking to clarify if any University representative had a role in fomenting or encouraging the protest. One might also question whether the idea of a personal injury lawsuit in the United States is somehow inherently liberal. Arguably stupid, but not related to ideology. I know we’ve gone around on this before, but I am not sure that a stupid idea promulgated by someone who is liberal necessarily qualifies as a stupid liberal idea. But, you know, I guess you take the little victories wherever you can. ---

It’s interesting and, I admit, has been brought up before, that most of the incidents in the Stupid Republican Ideas thread are things actual Republican office-holders or party officials have done or suggested, while most of the incidents in the Stupid Liberal Ideas are things that nobodies who happen to hold left-wing ideas have done or suggested.
