**Clothahump** may be away, hiding in his dung-infested cave, cuddling up next to Beck, Limbaugh, and well-worn, somewhat sticky copies of Coulter, but I assure you he is not reevaluating anything. Clothy’s the kind of, well not “guy”, but something like a troglodyte, who would insist that the sky is green, and, when you pointed at the sky on a clear day and made him look at it, would nonetheless continue insisting it was green, and when you subsequently, legitimately called him a fucking idiot, would then insist your insult proves you had no real response to his argument. He’s really more like a Warner Bros cartoon caricature. ---

Those “tens of millions” that you referenced earlier whose livelihoods were adversely affected? I’m one of them. ---

Boehner would not schedule it for a vote before the full House, and Republicans changed the rules just before the shutdown that prevented any member from bringing the Senate bill up for a vote. ---

The Senate passed a budget in April 2013,and the House refused to go to conference. There is no budget because Boehner doesn’t want one. Deal with it. ---

Because while you were busy knee jerking your jerky knee I was actually trying to hold up my end of the bargain and provide a rational, legitimate response. You know what my response didn’t contain? It didn’t have the words democrat or republican or liberal or conservative. None! Oh yeah. It also didn’t assign any blame whatsoever to anyone. I could have. It’s pretty fucking easy to see who’s to blame for the fucking mess. But I didn’t. You know why? Because we’re in the mess and assigning blame wouldn’t have actually fixed any of the problems. I’ll pile on: no, the Republicans openly planned to execute a shutdown (and bump the debt limit), per many statements and memos, they took action to execute the shutdown, and many even celebrated the shutdown. When you plan something, take action to make it happen, and then celebrate it, you get the blame, and no one else. Boehner wanted a shutdown and he made it happen. And it didn’t end until Boehner allowed a vote. The Senate actually voted on the House bill- they amended it and sent it back. But the House wouldn’t vote on a Senate bill until the very end. This was all on the Republicans- they wanted it, they executed it… it’s on them. ---
