I tried googling “Feinstein alternative medicine” and got a bunch of hits for some quack named David Feinstein. Also, a bunch of articles from some place called Natural News, which appears to be an unusual combination of lunatic right-wing rhetoric and health woo. They really, really hate Dianne Feinstein, but mostly because of her stance on gun control, not for anything related to alt med. ---

The world’s fair of 1904, celebrating the centenary of the Louisiana Purchase, cost about $15 million, more than the purchase itself, and without all that much inflation over that 100 years. Not a liberal or conservative idea, though most boosters seem to be Republican ;), just a pointless, yet inconsequential, tidbit I’d picked up.
