Anyway, those asking for an extra $50 billion annually so these amputees can suckle at the taxpayer’s teat act like that’s only a little bit of money. That’s enough money to buy 500 EA-18G Growler fighter jets, 429 V-22 Ospreys, 150 C17As, or even 140 F22s. Which is more cost effective in the struggle agianst the Enemy? Brand-new military hardware, or trying to salvage crippled soldiers? Of course we needn’t spend the entire $50 billion savings on fighter jets and tax relief for America’s suffering Job Creators. How about education? Even a few billion would go a long way to persecuting criminal student-loan defaulters. ---

In my understanding, they do not “pave the way to the implementation of Sharia law in the US”. If you disagree, please tell me how they could possibly be construed as doing so. ---

I think it’s time somebody went through this thread and pulled out all the distinct SRIOTD --there’s probably 10 posts of commentary for every nugget of stupidity – and give us a neat and succinct catalog of idiocy, categorized by State, Local, Federal and Right-Wing Punditry. Theoretically, someone could establish a Sharia law state with laws so liberal it would make Obama blush. It’d technically still be Sharia. Saying “ha! The bible says enslave your enemies” doesn’t move me. ---

Even restricting it to the Ten Commandments, it means killing people for mowing their lawns or washing their cars on the Sabbath, let alone adultery. Again, I’m not saying that’s what these idiots want. I’m saying they are so fucking dumb that they don’t realize what is in the Holy Scriptures that they claim to champion, but haven’t bothered to read. Hope that helps. ---
