Ignorance fought. Sorry, Johnny Reb, I tried to give you a chance & not pile on. As for the two colored persons, yeah, I dunno. Looks like “poor southerner” getups to me. But an antebellum poor black was most often a slave. Unfortunate implications. ---

Republican DA Ken Kratz decided sexting a victim of Domestic abuse was a good idea while he was prosecuting her ex bf. He was apparently very turned on by yhr battered women he was seeking justice for. The fact that he was trying to nail the victim showed that he is both compassionate and confident in his abilities. Jim Russell (R), who’s running for Congress (18th Congressional District, NY), is - surprise, surprise - a racist, anti-Semitic nutcase. Some of his past writings (from less than 10 years ago, so not that far in the past) [have surfaced](http://www.politico.com/blogs/maggiehaberman/0910/Nita_Lowey_rival_wrote_antiintegration_racially_charged_essay_.html?showall). Read link for choice excerpts. It pisses me off that in the headline and the lead sentence of this article, they use his Democratic opponent’s name instead of his - I think Politico is trying to obfuscate. ---
