Magpies are stunningly beautiful birds, and also very intelligent, please fail to do them such a disservice. If you want to compare Jindal to a bird, he is more like a harlequin duck, I think. Or maybe some kind of coyote, though that is being pretty mean to coyotes. ---

He reminds me of one of those huge papier-mache heads that people wear in parades in Rio. His is based on Fred Rogers. ---

It’s due to the Marabou Stork Corollary to Godwin’s Law. “Any mention of the Marabou Stork, especially if it includes a picture (or a link to one) will be followed by at least five lame joke posts regarding how ugly they are; leading to a 50 / 50 chance of a total hijacking of the thread.” ---
