The quote from the other columnist is indeed refreshing (though it ignores HOW to make sure the savings actually gets passed in to employee wages and not management pockets). If only all advocates of such a POV were so honest. ---

He deliberately broke the law by not getting insurance; his wife, Mary Lang said “We call it the Not Fair Health Care Act.” I guess what was “unfair” was that the penalties for law violaters like Lang were deferred. If only Obama had shown up at their doorstep and forced Lang at gunpoint to take insurance, he could get surgery now! Shame on Obama. ---

He has a $300,000 house that’s ridiculously huge for 2 people. And a wife who doesn’t work. I see options for him here. And it should be noted that, yes, he’s getting a scolding from liberals on GoFundMe…but he’s also getting plenty of donations from those liberals at the same time. Not to mention that all of that apparatus that he’s spent so much time denouncing and which WOULD have completely solved this problem for him if he’d have just done what he was supposed to do when he was supposed to do it, is ALSO largely a Democratic/liberal/Obama creation. If it were up to his precious Republicans, he’d be sleeping under a bridge until his inevitable death from diabetic complications and none of them would give a shit. ---

What a bunch of complete assholes. The article points out that Obama had previously asked for a 2.5 billion increase for Amtrak. So no one should wonder why funding was struck down. Rebuilding our infrastructure better be a top priority in this next election. Can’t wait to see how they feign questions about it. ---
