In South Carolina news on saturday State treasurer Curtis Loftis wrote, [in a now deleted tweet](http://i.imgur.com/puqqnGU.jpg), I quote : “I am watching black youths abuse police and white people. Randomly. It’s digusting. #sctweets #scnews #SCPol”. That’s not immediately stupid, until you realize that by “Randomly” he meant “because they were being hurled abuse at from behind the safety of a police line”, and by “white people” he meant “demonstrators from the actual, no shit but holy shit, how is this still even a thing Ku Klux Klan” who were on the SC Capitol steps to do their thang about the confederate flag being lowered. Well, maybe that’s not for the Stupid Idea thread. More for the generic “fuck \*that \*guy right in the ear” thread. Which there totally should be one, BTW. ---

And I guess this “imperial Presidency” he and the GOPpers have been complaining about doesn’t apply when it comes to going to war. ---

Not quite. He hedged it around with some sorta-kinda, in the standard approach of having it both ways and a little of the third. He would mos’ def cancel the deal on day one, and _may_ have to take military action. ---

That’s how my scouts did it. Once. In front of 200 people. Then they learned better. Maybe it was his first time trying this difficult task. ---

It kinda looks like, if he kept going, he might get the right (sort of) result. It looks like the blue field is facing downward. If Walker did two more triangular folds that field would wrap around and be on the outside. So he’s not got all the details right, but he’s not totally clueless, either. But taking the picture down as if it never happened is a act of craven puppyhood. ---
