I like how they keep calling the officer a “park ranger”, I guess because Republicans are supposed to show respect for the police, so calling him some other thing lets them belittle him. ---

Hey, it involved a health plan - probably had something to do with women’s health. Republicans love to do “research” by sticking things in women. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. ---

Their excuse was that they were “discussing constitutional matters”. In DK it now means having sex. ---

In the article, the county sheriff (who is supporting the citation) refers to him as a park ranger, so I’m guessing that is his title. And one quote from one of the charged individuals has her referring to “the officer” - so I’d say this is not a good gripe about Republicans. ---

The older I get, the more I see that the most “morally righteous” of Republicans are bible-thumping, family values, by-the-rules autocrats _because they need it_. They’re completely corrupt, selfish, amoral people who only barely function in society because of constant fear of punishment for breaking rules.
