What’s stupid about it was that Perry used that metaphor to indicate that he _wasn’t_ dropping out. It makes no sense the way he used it. ---

Not so much stupidity as dishonest douchebaggery: The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration investigated Planned Parenthood about the fetal-tissue thing. Their report said, “there is no evidence of the mishandling of fetal remains at any of the 16 clinics we investigated across the state.” [Governor Rick Scott’s office deleted that sentence before releasing the report.](http://www.capitalnewyork.com/article/florida/2015/09/8575790/scotts-office-scrubbed-release-cleared-planned-parenthood) ---
