I had a fairly conservative political science professor in college who said that he was not a libertarian for a couple of reasons, one of which being that there was nothing in the libertarian philosophy that prevented a politician from selling his vote to the highest bidder. I never really gave that much thought since then. Anyway, it may have taken over twenty years for me to realize it, but, by god, Dr. Armstrong, you were right! ---

OMG, apologies if this has been shared ad nauseam already…but in case anyone hasn’t seen this, please take twelve seconds, starting at the 35 second mark of [this video clip](http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/video/rick-perry-on-gay-boy-scout-masters-487019587923), to see Rick Perry come out against gay scoutmasters in the _gayest possible way_.
