Today’s stupid Ben Carson idea of the day: Ben said yesterday that the signers of the Declaration of Independence had no political experience before signing the Declaration. When it was pointed out to him that many of the signers had been members of colonial governments, he changed his quote to say that [none of them had federal government experience](http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/ben-carson-founding-fathers-elected-office). Er, Ben, there was no federal government before the signing of the Declaration. ---

_The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about._[RIGHT]– Wilde[/RIGHT] We should assume that the Republiopaths are saying stupid shit as a way to get attention. Has anyone calculated the cost/benefit threshold of idiocy in this context? How much stupidity can one barf out before one totally ruins their credibility? I mean, there are still people who take Doctor Oz seriously. ---
